Story
This Winter I’m sleeping out as part of the Mission Australia Winter Sleepout and helping raise $150,000 to help Australian’s in need. I would love you to sponsor me. Any donation no matter how small is greatly appreciated.
There are over 105,000 men, women and children who are homeless tonight. And it’s not as simple as you may think. Did you know that more than 60 per cent of children accommodated by homeless services in Australia have witnessed or been victims of domestic or family violence?
With no home to go to mothers with their children sleep on friends’ lounges, in cheap motels and parks, and in short-stay crisis accommodation.
By participating you can help Mission Australia raise vital funds to help people address the underlying causes of their homelessness, support them as they regain their independence, and help them to get back on their feet.
